What can I do if there is no departure date and time on the page of a tour?
You can message the tour guide directly using the message field at the bottom of the tour's page. You need to be logged in to be able to use this function.
How can I join to a guided tour?
Registration is required to joint our tours. To join an open tour just choose a date and language under its description. To join a closed tour message the tour guide directly.
About our tour guides
All of our guides are highly trained and licensed for Hungary. They are freelancers, not our employees. We at BudapesTourGuide, as operators of this website, strive to ensure that the tours offered on our site are of the highest quality.
How does it cost?
Visitors can use this site complately free of charge! The prices of tours are displayed in the descriptions of all tours, however payment needs to be arranged with the guide directly. Payment via our website is not possible. .
What can I do if I forgot my password?
Write an email to info@budapestourguide.com from your registered email address, and we will send you a new password.
Can I cancel my reservation?
All tour have their own cancellation deadlines. Please check the tour's description and notify your guide. No tours may be cancelled within 24 hours of departure.
How can I modify my reservation?
Closed tour: If you would like to modify your reservation (date, departure time, nr. of passengers, etc.) please write a message to your guide by using "My messages" menu (after log in). Open tour: Up to 24 hours before departure, you can cancel your reservation in "My reservations" menu. If you would like to join to another tour, please visit the page of the tour, and chose a new departure time.
Can I toggle between only hungarian and english language tours?
Our website is available in english and hungarian, but guided tours can be available up to 30 languages, subject to our guides topical supply. Use our search engine to filter tours to your language.
How can I write a message to the costumer service of this page?
To make a contact to our costumer service is easy by using our message form. Click to the envelope icon in the right side of the header of our page (after log in). If you can not register or log in, please write us an email by using info@budapestourguide.com address.
How can I choose a sightseeing tour?
You can brows descriptions of guided tours in "Sightseeing tours" page. If you have an opinion, you can use the advanced search engine on the left side of this page.
How can I join to an open (guaranteed) tour?
Our open tours have fix departure dates and times. You can join to this tours by choosing one of the dates listed under the description of the tour. Please take care of language of the departure.
How can I join to a closed tour?
Close tours can be reservated by individuals and groups. Departure date and time may be vary. Please write a message to the guide by using a form on the page of the tour.
How can I find out the email address and the phone number of my guide?
For contact the guide about the details of the tour, please use message sender function of our page. You can find your messages in "My messages" menu (Available after log in.) The guide can send you his/her phone number when the reservation cannot be modified.
